Here at RSM Roofing, our team have carried out hundreds of projects covering all aspects of flat roofing in Wimborne, Blandford Forum and Dorset. We have a great deal of experience in all types of flat roofs, including fibreglass flat roofs (GRP), felt flat roofs and rubber flat roofs (EPDM). With a fair few options to choose between, please do not hesitate to contact our team to talk through the various types of materials and see which one would best suit your needs.

Alongside of new flat roof installation our contractors can carry out flat roof repairs and maintenance. Old flat roofs are typically made out of a felt system which over time can become weaker and expose your building to potential water damage. Through revamping your existing flat roof we can be sure to fix any potentially weaknesses to ensure enhanced durability and longer life.

Our Flat Roofing Services

Our roofers have many years of experience in the roofing industry undertaking all types of flat roofs. We can help with installing brand new flat roofs or repair any existing flat roof system which can help improve your overall property health.

EPDM Rubber Flat Roofs System

The ClassicBond® rubber flat roof is the original EPDM roofing system. It is designed to be extremely cost effective and can be applied to your flat roof much faster than other systems. For most roofing applications, the membrane is made to measure based around your roof measurements and supplied as a single piece. EPDM flat roofs are regarded as being one of the most reliable, durable and sustainable materials. It has a 50 year life expectancy, UV stable, minimal maintenance (no rotting, cracks, etc), environmentally friendly and BBA certified.

Felt Flat Roofs System

We use Bitumen Felt Systems which are a great option for using on many flat roofing applications and waterproofing. The main benefit of this material is that it can be used as an overlay system which helps improve the lifespan of the flat roof whilst making it easy to renew in the future by adding an additional single layer which will renew the longevity. It's extremely strong which makes it very resistant against harsh weather such as low temperatures and freezing. It has a high resistance against mechanical damage and is very cost effective.

GRP Fibreglass Flat Roofs

Here at RSM Roofing, we use high quality GRP Fibreglass materials from Tuff Stuff Roofing Systems which is designed to be extremely versatile. There are many benefits to the GRP Fibreglass flat roofing systems. It requires no heat equipment used for the installation making it a safer option, it's durable and strong with a life expectancy of over 20 years, requires minimal maintenance making it very easy to clean, lightweight material, extremely flexible which makes it a great option for difficult shaped flat roofs with a variety of elevations, projections and pipes. If you want to learn more about GRP Fibreglass flat roofs then get in touch with our roofers in Wimborne and Blandford Forum.

Single Ply Flat Roof Systems

We use Sarnafil by Roof Assured and Alwitra for our single ply flat roof systems. Single ply has a very long life expectancy of over 40 years which was independently assessed by BBA. The system is extremely waterproof being able to withstand pooling water without detrimental benefits to the product. The stability is something to admire as its performance is unaffected by expansion, contraction or UV rays (the membrane is vapour permeable to prevent blisters). Other core advantages are its strength, resistance to rot or moss growth, minimal maintenance, fire resistant and importantly it is environmentally friendly meaning the material can be recycled after the product has exceeded its life expectancy.

Liquid Applied Flat Roofing Systems

Our liquid applied flat roofing systems are highly elastic and uses one component in its membrane called Polyurethane which is long lasting and 100% waterproof. The liquid applied system offers excellent mechanical, chemical, thermal and UV resistance properties which are all natural based on pure elastomeric hydrophobic polyurethane resins. There are many benefits including simple roller or spray application, crack resistant up to 2mm (and -10 degrees) and it can be used on various applications; including flat roofs, car ports, bridges, tunnels, car parks, balconies wet areas, places with high traffic and green roofs. Free flat roofing quotes are available for this service should you wish to learn more about this material.

Flat Roof Repairs & Maintenance

Sometimes flat roofs can become old and crack. This leads to potential problems such as roof leaks, damp, moss growth, etc. These problems can be costly, stressful and completely unavoidable if dealt with correctly as soon as the issue has been detected. Our roofing company have undertaken hundreds of flat roof repairs and flat roof maintenance in Wimborne and Blandford Forum. The cost for our flat roof repairs completely depends on the type of repair, duration, material and budget.
